Paul's epistle to the Romans is the fullest explanation of the gospel in the New Testament. In this slim volume, L. A. Mott guides the reader step by step through the logical foundation of Paul's argument in chapters 1 – 5.
This slim volume (only 52 pages) is divided into three sections. The first, "Righteousness Through Faith," shows how Paul demonstrates in the first three chapters human kind's desperate need for some system that could declare us "Not Guilty" besides our own merit.
The second section, by way of an exposition of Romans 4, explains "The Nature of Faith in Romans."
And the final section, "Faith Faces the Future," Mott's exposition of Romans 5 explains how this faith gives us reason to "rejoice in hope of the glory of God," and even to "rejoice in our tribulations."
